Rights and License

Your Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who are not using their insurance benefits with a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and/or consultation services provided by From Mess to Meaning Therapy & Supervision, PLLC.

A Good Faith Estimate will include the expected costs of services and will be provided in writing before services begin, in accordance with applicable federal requirements.

You may also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill through the process established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Please keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
